Not sure about membership in Altrusa just yet, but still want to support some of our work? Consider donating something for a service project! We're always on the lookout for:

Adult fiction books in large print

Fiction and nonfiction books in good condition for middle school and high school aged readers

New baby board books
-
Travel-sized or individual-sized toiletries (the stuff from hotel bathrooms is great!): shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, new or gently used wash cloths, lotion, razors, sunscreen, etc.
If you want to support the hungry in the community, we encourage you to give directly to a food pantry in your area. They can always use both financial contributions and donations of fresh, healthy food. Here in Delta, the Delta Food Pantry can always use donations of:

Commercially processed meat, fresh or frozen

Fresh produce, all types

Milk: Any type, including nut or alternative

Eggs
-
Peanut butter and jelly
-
Canned veggies: corn, green beans, mixed veggies

Canned chili, soups and meals
-
Dog or cat food
These can be donated during the regular open hours of the Pantry, Monday - Friday, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., at their location, in the alley behind St. Michael's Catholic Church on 6th & Meeker Streets in Delta, Colo.
