Altrusa is an international non-profit organization, making local communities better through leadership, partnership, and service.  We are civic-minded people who strive to create better communities worldwide.

Altrusa International of Delta was chartered in 1985 consisting of a group of community minded citizens.

Altrusa International of Delta has been actively involved in helping to make Delta County a better place to live, learn, and grow.

We have a strong emphasis on literacy, along with our many other service projects.  We also emphasize fun and fellowship!

Our mission is to be leaders in service; addressing the needs of our community and Delta County.

We strive to be a positive influence by supporting projects that enable the greatest number of people to better themselves by improving their self-esteem through continuing education.

We strive to build camaraderie among fellow Altrusans as we work to make our community a better place for all to live.

Thank you!

I want to thank you for your generous donation to the music department at Garnet Mesa Elememtary School. It provided the necessary funding for a classroom set of instruments.  We have over 500 students here and everyone of them has the opportunity to play the instruments in class.  Thank you for your support of music in our community
