Altrusa International of Delta was chartered in 1985. It is a service organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Delta and its surrounding area. Consisting of a group of dedicated men and women, Altrusa International of Delta has been actively involved in helping to make Delta a better place to live, learn and grow.
Our mission is to be leaders in service; addressing the needs of our community and Delta County. We strive to be a positive influence by supporting projects that enable the greatest number of people to better themselves by improving their self-esteem through continuing education. We strive to build camaraderie among fellow Altrusans as we work to make our community a better place for all to live.
Altrusa International of Delta welcomes new members and would enjoy answering any questions you may have. Contact Club President Jo Rosenquist via email or talk to any Altrusan about how you can become a member of one of Delta's leading service organizations.
We meet at noon on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at the Delta Elk's lodge at 6th and Main streets. We are always looking for programs and new service projects, so if you would be interested in doing a presentation or have a project we might be able to help with, please let us know.
